Online play makes Scrabble cool again

Surprised we don't see a lot more of this with older board games.

Scrabulous is big on Facebook, and RealNetworks (yuck) is rumored to be interested in buying it. What's interesting is that the online game (Scrabulous) was not developed by Mattel and Hasbro, who own the rights to the board game (Scrabble). The toy companies are looking to shut down the popular online equivalent.
