We stumbled across this 1000 tags deal. Don't know how effective it will be (and probably they don't, yet, either). Frankly, we don't think "tag clouds" are the ultimate user interface answer. They're clunky. But, they are kind of in vogue right now.
In exchange for this modest post, presumably we get a free tag on their site. The deadline on that is running out fast, though.
We'll let you know how/if it works.

Hate to say it, but a copycat (or not so copycat?) is already on the run. The truth is that the concept is a lot better. The guys who did this propably know what a tag is... you might want to check it out. http://www.forevertags.com

Lots of folks consider this tag site idea a quickie copy of the Million Dollar Homepage anyway.
