Overheard in Hoboken

Years ago, when Mr. Snitch! was a rumor column, it vaguely resembled the new Overhead in Hoboken blog. Along the lines of Overheard in New York (which, in turn, has been compared to Stan Mack's Real Life Funnies), the author depends on reader contributions of overheard snippets of dialogue. The resiliency of the idea alone proves its merit.

When enough people contribute, a site like Overheard can really reflect the 'voice of the city'. We suggest that, while the site finds its audience, the author go out him/herself and soak up that dialogue. Post, post, post!

We'll check in now and again to see how it's doing. We're rooting for it.
