Our After 9/11 site is online

(click image at left to access site)

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2008: Another segment of the documentary now appears here.

UPDATE AUGUST 2008: We've posted an early video test of the documentary. We expect to post more pieces of the film shortly.

UPDATE APRIL 2008: The 9/11 site has been removed temporarily. That site (and the entire Mr. Snitch site) is being rebuilt.

The 9/11 site & video clip are now up. No burning buildings, no rubble, no explosions, no speeches, no screeches, no Bin Laden, no bodies. Just a remembrance of some people whose lives were cut short through no fault of their own, with poignant candid snapshots from their lives, and music.

Check out the site, which more or less speaks for itself.

More about the site, with images.
More about the documentary.

Also: This straightforward but important site scrolls the names of the 9/11 victims up the screen while playing some well-chosen music. Its purpose is to remind us that our choice of memorial(s) for 9/11 is far from trivial.

Many, many thanks to everyone who cared to Trackback to this post, particularly local bloggers Sluggo and Dan Riehl.

Captain's Quarters and Michele Malkin weigh in on inappropriate 9/11 memorials.

And thank you for allowing me to circumvent the language barrier! The documentary itself, at least, does not require much translation...
