Exclusive video from Riehl World View
Dan Riehl got hold of this must be seen, exclusive video from last night's live NBC celeb fundraiser, which resulted in a deluge of complaints to Red Cross call centers. In this clip, rapper Kanye West declares: 'George Bush doesn't care about black people, they've been given permission to go down there and shoot us,' while an appalled Mike Meyers looks on. Kanye, shown complaining about how black people are portrayed, was recently in the news when Shug Knight was shot at a party West was hosting. We have heard that this part of the broadcast was cut from NBC's California transmission, so millions have not yet seen it.
Story (but no video) from the Globe and Mail.

{UPDATE: The video is no longer exclusive, but it is rare. It has emerged at Crooks and Liars, and Putfile. We have also seen a few other sites featuring the video, but with the controversial remarks edited out. Also: Leather Penguin's breezy look at this.}
Our thanks to MSNBC for the link.

"breezy"?
What am I missing when I try to translate that description?
It's the "kids" thing, right?
You know, on second viewing, the post I admit doesn't seem quite as breezy. Breezy meaning brisk, light, quick, and to-the-point. I don't think it's a kids thing.
Hmm. I'll stay with breezy. Pretty sure I felt a breeze there. But I also realized I used the descrip recently in another post. Maybe I'd better put the word on the shelf awhile.
